Throwing the ball to her fellow attacking teammates, Freshman Amy Shearer produces a great play.  Junior Varsity Girls Soccer played a tough scrimmage against Resevior Highschool and later lose 6-0.  "I like it. Its fun to hang out with the team after school and to meet new friends." said Shearer.

On the bench talking to her fellow teammates, Senior Caitlin Blauvet talks about the first half of the game.  Northern Varsity Girls Soccer was playing a scrimmage against Resevior High School. " As a senior, its my job to keep the team as a family.  I love these girls to death and I have no idea what I would do without them." said Blauvet.

Playing to her fullest potential, Lauren Soper, Senior, makes a great first touch as she attacks the ball.  Lauren Soper is one of the newest members of the soccer team coming from our great rival school Huntingtown Highschool.  "Its a little weird being on the other side this year, but I love it.  Northern was a great change for me. Of course there is a rivalry, but it makes the game more exciting." said Soper.

After putting up a strong fight at the left midfield position, Sophmore Morgan Menoche is taking in advice from Mrs. Nita Keen who is the assistant coach of the Junior Varsity Girls Soccer team.  Northern's Junior Varsity played until the last whistle blew but sadly lost to Resevior Highschool.  "My goals for this year are to work on my ball skills and make tis year a great season.  As a team, we need to work on ball handeling and ball control.  Once we master those skills, we can be unbeatable" said Menoche.

Taking a snooze before a big game, Senior Victoria Azera rests in one of the seats on the bus. Northern Girs Varsity was heading to a soccer scrimmage against Resevior High School, where they later lost 5-0. "I love it." she said. "I've never been on a team that has excepted me like the Northern girls have.  I truly feel like I am apart of a family aside from my actual one.  The girls are so much fun and my senior year is going to be a blast!" said Azera.
